Outsourcing Your Information Marketing

Outsourcing your information marketing is a hot topic.? If you are just beginning to establish yourself as an authority in your area of expertise, outsourcing may not be a good idea. On the other hand, if you are a world-class expert already, then outsourcing may be the only way your information marketing business gets off the ground.

Personally, I did not want to distract myself from my primary focus on information marketing by learning HTML and building websites. Back when I started online, that is how websites were built. Now there are alternatives, plenty of them.? But they all take time to learn and to implement.

Information Marketing and Webmasters

Despite the fact that WordPress and other platforms make it easy to build sites, I still don?t want to build websites. So, I outsource all that work. And I am really happy that I have a webmaster so that I can focus on writing and speaking and coaching.

I am a perfect example of a person who needs to outsource. My time is more productively spent on what I do well and not what I could eventually learn to do well and save myself some money. The money I spend on a webmaster is the foundational investment in my information marketing business.

If you know how to build websites and your info products teach others to build websites, then you should probably build your own website, at least your first one. But your focus will shift when you become an information marketer. Then your goal to expand your business by selling e-books, giving seminars and coaching aspiring web developers makes outsourcing a practical necessity.
